Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu
After landing at Paro International Airport, you’ll meet your guide and begin a relaxing drive to Thimphu, a journey of about an hour and a half through winding valleys and traditional villages. Once you arrive and check in, the rest of the evening is yours—take a gentle walk through the city or unwind at your hotel.

Day 2: Exploring Thimphu
Your day begins with a visit to the magnificent Buddha Dordenma, which stands high above the valley and offers sweeping views of Thimphu. Continue on to Tashichho Dzong, the impressive administrative and monastic center of the country. Later, stop at the National Memorial Chorten, a hub of daily spiritual activity, before visiting the Folk Heritage Museum and browsing local crafts at the nearby handicraft stalls.

Day 3: Thimphu Tsechu Festival
Spend the day immersed in the lively atmosphere of the Thimphu Tshechu, one of the country’s grandest festivals. The celebration features elaborate mask dances, sacred rituals, and vibrant pageantry. Locals arrive dressed in their finest attire, creating a vivid and colorful scene. After enjoying the festivities, you’ll have time to wander through local markets before settling in for the evening.

Day 4: Journey to Punakha
Depart for Punakha after breakfast, enjoying a beautiful drive through changing landscapes. Once in Punakha, visit its iconic dzong—an architectural masterpiece situated where two rivers meet. The serene courtyards and intricate woodwork offer a memorable introduction to Punakha’s history. Check in at your hotel and enjoy a peaceful evening.

Day 5: Punakha to Paro
Begin the morning with a walk to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, a uniquely designed stupa that overlooks the lush Punakha Valley. After your visit, travel back to Paro. Upon arrival, explore Rinpung Dzong and the National Museum to gain deeper insight into Bhutan’s heritage. Spend the evening relaxing in town or unwinding at your hotel.

Day 6: Tiger's Nest Hike
Set out on the famous hike to Taktsang Monastery, internationally known as Tiger’s Nest. The trail offers inspiring views over the valley and leads to one of Bhutan’s most revered spiritual sites, dramatically built on a cliffside. After enjoying the surroundings and your packed lunch, descend back to Paro and enjoy a well-deserved rest.

Day 7: Departure
