Description

The Mount Jomolhari Trek is a premier 12-day journey to the base of the sacred 7,326m "Bride of Kanchenjunga." Starting with a hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest, the trail winds through rhododendron forests to the stunning Jangothang Base Camp. Trekkers enjoy front-row views of Jichu Drake while spotting rare wildlife like blue sheep in high-altitude alpine meadows. The route challenges adventurers with steep ascents over the Neyle La and Yaklay La passes, both nearing 5,000m. After a scenic descent along the Thimphu Chhu, the expedition transitions into a cultural tour of Punakha and Thimphu. This trek offers a perfect blend of demanding Himalayan wilderness and deep immersion into Bhutan’s rich spiritual heritage. Note: We would be happy to offer hotel upgrades based on your preference and comfort level. If you wish to stay in higher-category properties (such as premium 4-star or luxury hotels), we can arrange the upgrade for you.
