- Drive to Thimphu (scenic riverside journey)

- Explore Thimphu town & handicraft market

Day 3: Thimphu to Punakha
- Drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass (3,100m),108 Druk Wangyal Chortens (Himalayan panoramic views (weather permitting))
- Upon Arrival Visit:
  - Punakha Dzong the most iconic and beautiful dzong in Bhutan
  - Chimi Lhakhang also known as temple of fertility (short village hike)
- Optional: River rafting (seasonal)
